Mangle is one of the main protagonists in the series. She is a white fox who entertains children at Pirate's Cove alongside Foxy at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza.
Personality[]
Mangle for the most part is caring, affectionate, brave, reckless, and a respected member in the Fazbear Family. She is best friends with Toy Chica and shares a romantic love interest for Foxy throughout the course of the series. Mangle loves Foxy and is willing to do anything to keep him safe from harm. She is very emotional whenever something happens to Foxy, such as The End?, where she cries about Foxy being caught in the explosion. She even blames herself for not going back to get him. She also volunteers to kill Nightmare on her own with his sword in Presence Unknown - Part 3, showing that her braver (but a quite reckless side as well.) Mangle also shows signs of her reckless behavior when she goes to Fazbear Fright on Halloween, or in The Revolutionary Christmas where she was killed with a shotgun because she ran to the Nightguard's office loud and dumb.
Despite her shortcomings, Mangle is athletic and nimble for her size, which allows her to run away from bigger enemies and attack at faster speeds than them. However, she can be easily hurt if she's not careful, as Nightmare was able to kill her by grabbing her neck and throwing her off the cliff resulting in her to die from her injuries in The Traitor.

Reception[]
Mangle was met with positive feedback back from viewers. She was voted as the second best character in the series, with Bonnie coming in third place, and Toy Chica in first. However, she has received some criticism for being a "Mary Sue" or a "damsel in distress" in some episodes.
